Almost-Grand Canyon

We pulled over at a scenic turnout, wondering why it was scenic. It was the middle of the desert. And to our amazement was this huge canyon! It was about 1/3 mile down to the bottom. I was amazed. I was a little scared to go near the edge. You could see a small cloud from a fire in the distance. (Somewhere on US-50, NV 2000)
