Theophany ζ

In some regards, the painting was better without the changes I've made in the bottom third, but I want to represent the Day of the Lord as describe by Exodus 19 and in the New Testament. I found images of the rolling green hills with white wild flowers and pine treats from out trip to mt. rainier, particularly Paradise, and used them to paint in the bottom right. The white and purple blotches are the multitude of israel, and the colorful edge is the increasing sound of the trumpts at the new creation, as the new creation engulfs the heavens and earth 2009/07/26
