Theotokos of Vladimir Icon δ

Used a darker red on the veil, added the halo (I don't like the shape) added some more gold and changed the white stripe to red. I plan to add detail to the veil after it dries. Lots of work to do for detail around the hands and baby, as well as the arm band. Getting closer though. I saw two different versions of this painting, one had a red veil that i liked and it had a solid black halo, but we'll see still. 2007/09/23
